Engineering & Manufacturing Web Design
Case Study: Advanced Metal Etching
A clean, yet modern look for a client who was looking to refresh their business-to-business website, and create some more functionality. AME needed a site that could clearly explain their complex services, as well as offer a blog, customer surveys, and allow for employment applications to be submitted online. A focus was also placed on SEO in order to improve their search rankings and increase traffic to the site
Web Design With Engineering Expertise
Tolle Web Design specializes in creating engineering related and manufacturing related websites. Our lead designer has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Immediately understanding terminologies like tolerancing and other technical information allow us to more easily create exactly the website that your company needs - one that both provides technical information to engineers and builds trust by giving a communication portal to purchasing departments.
Key Website Features
Business Blog
AME was in need of an easy-to-use business blog platform. The blog helps them publish content that helps build trust with their audience, and boost their SEO.
RFQ Form
An online RFQ form was required that would allow purchasing departments to easily request a quote and provide technical drawings. The drawings were then attached to an email and sent the appropriate department.
Social Integration
AME has an active twitter account where they post relevant industry news. One goal they have is to grow their following, so each new Twitter post is automatically displayed on their website to draw in more followers.
More On AME
When AME came to us, they were very frustrated trying to update an old site, built on outdated plugins. The site was prone to errors and formatting issues, and hard to adjust. We helped them create a new design using some of the content from their old site, while creating entirely new sections for a better user experience. The new site was also optimized for search engines so that they could start to rank higher in search results. The new site created a much more professional appearance for AME, building trust with clients. The new site is also much easier to manage through an accessible content management system, which saves them time and money.
64% Traffic Increase
SEO Impact
SEO was a major focus in this build. The client understood that their old site was not built on best practices and was hurting their search engine rankings. Improvements in this area were a key factor in trusting Tolle Web Design. Being found more often on search engines and increasing traffic to the site was the ultimate goal.
Increasing traffic and search rankings can take time. Measuring the change over the course of a year, AME saw a 63.7% increase in traffic to their website after implementing the new SEO optimized website.*
Connie - Marketing Director, AME
Using Branden to revamp our custom B2B website with a new WordPress theme was the best decision. After receiving many proposals from different companies, Branden stood out because he was able to explain why we were having technical issues very clearly, and most importantly, how those issues would be resolved. His knowledge in website development, hosting, WordPress, user experience, SEO and website integrations is superb. He was timely in answering my questions during all stages of the website development. He offered many great suggestions for improvement that I hadn't considered. It is obvious that he keeps up with the latest Google algorithm updates and best SEO practices for increased web traffic. The result is a very professional and functional website.
